Job Description
A leading offshore operator is currently seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a DP2 Diving Support Vessel (DSV) operating in the North Sea under the Norwegian flag.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the vessel's electrical, electronic, automation, communication, and dynamic positioning systems while ensuring the safe and reliable operation of all onboard equipment in compliance with international maritime regulations and company HSE procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced offshore ETOs with previous MPSV, OCV, or DSV experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair electrical and electronic systems onboard
- Monitor and maintain Dynamic Positioning (DP) electrical systems
- Troubleshoot automation, control, and communication equipment
- Perform planned preventive maintenance on electrical machinery
- Maintain power generation and distribution systems
- Ensure operational readiness of navigation and communication equipment
- Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings
- Ensure compliance with STCW requirements, ISM Code, and company HSE procedures
- Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation
Requirements
- Valid Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency
- Valid DP Maintenance Certificate
- Valid HUET with CA-EBS
- Minimum 18 months of offshore experience as ETO onboard MPSV, OCV, or DSV vessels
- Valid STCW certification package
- Valid CoC and Flag State Endorsement
- Valid passport
- Valid seaman book with documented sea service
- Previous employer references
- Valid medical certificate
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Good English communication skills
- Strong electrical, automation, and DP troubleshooting skills
- Physically and medically fit for offshore service
