ETO on DSV DP2 (KSA)

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a DP2 Diving Support Vessel (DSV) operating in Saudi Arabian waters. The successful candidate must hold a valid Electro-Technical Officer’s License, a DP Maintenance Certificate, and an IMCA DP Logbook. A minimum of 24 months of actual onboard experience in the rank of ETO on DP2 vessels is mandatory. ARAMCO-approved candidates are preferred.

The expected joining date is the beginning of November 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting the vessel’s electrical, electronic, and control systems.
• Ensuring the reliable operation of DP-related electrical and electronic equipment.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical machinery, instrumentation, and automation systems.
• Supporting safe vessel operations and assisting with technical checks related to DP2 systems.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with applicable safety procedures and company requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid Electro-Technical Officer’s License.
• DP Maintenance Certificate.
• IMCA DP Logbook.
• Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience as an ETO on DP2 vessels.
• ARAMCO approval preferred.
• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC), Endorsement, and all required STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Marlins English Test with a minimum score of 70% in all sections.
• Valid passport and seaman’s book with sea-service records for all vessels listed in the CV.
• References from previous employers.
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Proficiency in English communication.
