Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced ETO (Electro-Technical Officer) to join a Training Support Vessel operating in the Singapore region.
The position is offered on a Polish contract with a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation. The ETO will be responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the vessel's electrical and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and control systems onboard.
Carry out inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
Assist with fault finding and repairs to vessel electrical systems.
Ensure electrical equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with safety procedures.
Support the engineering team during vessel operations and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an ETO onboard vessels.
Experience on offshore vessels is advantageous.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid ETO CoC / relevant Electro-Technical Officer certification.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book.
Good English communication skills.
Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills.
Good safety awareness and ability to work as part of an international crew.
