Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a DP2 Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating in Angola. The position is focused primarily on electrical and electronic maintenance onboard, including the maintenance of vessel electrical systems and equipment.
Candidates must have High Voltage certification, DP experience, and proven experience working onboard DP vessels. The assignment is for approximately 5 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out planned and corrective maintenance of electrical and electronic systems onboard.
Maintain and troubleshoot vessel automation, control, alarm, and safety systems.
Monitor and maintain electrical power generation and distribution equipment.
Support the safe operation and maintenance of DP-related electrical and electronic systems.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs as required.
Requirements:
Valid ETO Certificate of Competency / relevant certification
Valid High Voltage certification – mandatory
DP experience
Previous experience onboard DP vessels – mandatory
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Good command of English
Relevant offshore vessel experience
