Job Description:
OSM Thome is currently recruiting an experienced Electro Technical Officer (ETO) to join an Offshore Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating in UK waters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all onboard electrical, electronic, and automation systems, ensuring maximum equipment availability and compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate, maintain, and repair all electrical, electronic, and control systems onboard.
Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting on power generation and electrical distribution systems.
Maintain and test automation, navigation, communication, and Dynamic Positioning (DP) systems as required.
Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and classification society requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report technical issues to the Chief Engineer.
Participate in emergency drills and ensure compliance with company HSE and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
Valid Electro Technical Officer (ETO) Certificate of Competency (CoC).
Valid STCW certificates applicable to offshore/PSV operations.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Previous experience as an ETO, preferably onboard Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) or similar offshore vessels.
Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic, automation, and control systems.
DP Maintenance Certificate is considered an advantage.
Good spoken and written English.
Valid offshore certificates as required by the vessel flag state and client.
