Job Description:
TOS People is looking for an Apprentice ETO (Electro-Technical Officer) to join a DP2 Trenching and Offshore Support Vessel / Subsea Rock Installation Vessel operating in Europe.
The position is offered on a Polish contract with a 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation. The planned joining date is 30 August 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the ETO and electrical department with routine maintenance and technical operations.
Support inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment.
Assist with safe operation and maintenance of vessel electrical systems.
Follow onboard safety procedures and company technical standards.
Gain practical experience and develop competencies under the supervision of qualified ETO personnel.
Requirements:
Relevant training or education in electrical / electro-technical engineering.
Valid STCW certificates, as applicable.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Interest in developing a career as an Electro-Technical Officer.
Ability to work onboard a DP2 offshore support vessel.
Good English communication skills.
Valid seafarer documentation.
