Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is proactively building a pool of experienced Electro-Technical Officers (ETO) for upcoming offshore projects worldwide. This role is not linked to a specific vessel or vacancy, but part of an ongoing recruitment campaign for future mobilizations.
The Electro-Technical Officer will work onboard various offshore vessels, responsible for maintaining and operating electrical and electronic systems essential for safe and efficient offshore operations. The contract details, vessel type, and rotation will be defined once a suitable project becomes available.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic systems onboard
• Maintenance of power generation and distribution systems
• Supervision of automation, control, navigation, and communication systems
• Support and maintenance of offshore systems such as DP, cranes, jack-up systems, and auxiliaries
• Ensuring compliance with electrical safety standards, maritime regulations, and international codes
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the position
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• BOSIET or HUET (FOET) with CA+EBS
• High Voltage certification
• ETO Certificate of Competency (CoC)
• Experience onboard various offshore vessels
• GWO Working at Heights and GWO Sea Survival (beneficial)
