Job Description

Fortis Engineering is seeking a qualified Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join its marine operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and reliable operation of the vessel's electrical, electronic, and automation systems.

Position Available

• Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect electrical and electronic equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and automation system faults
• Support the maintenance of generators, motors, and control systems
• Carry out electrical repairs and preventive maintenance
• Maintain technical records and maintenance reports
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures
• Support the safe operation of onboard technical systems

Requirements

• Relevant Electro-Technical Officer qualifications and certification
• Valid STCW certification
• Valid seafarer's documents and certificates
• Relevant experience as ETO
• Good English communication skills
• Strong electrical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
