Job Description:
Global Gateway Crewing Services Inc. is urgently recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) / Electrician to join an offshore vessel on an ASAP joining basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel’s electrical and electronic systems, with particular emphasis on DP (Dynamic Positioning) maintenance and support.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and electronic systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, control systems, and machinery.
Support maintenance and troubleshooting of the vessel's DP system.
Conduct inspections, testing, and fault-finding to ensure safe equipment operation.
Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Valid ETO / Electrician Certificate of Competency or relevant certification
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Proven DP maintenance experience is mandatory
Previous offshore vessel experience
Valid Passport and Seaman's Book
Candidates must be available for immediate / ASAP joining
