Job Description:
SSM Maritime Services Inc. is hiring a qualified Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join an Offshore Support Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and automation systems onboard, with specific experience on DP2 vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems onboard.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of generators, switchboards, motors, and control systems.
Monitor automation, alarm, navigation, and communication systems.
Diagnose electrical faults and perform necessary repairs.
Support the safe operation of DP2 vessel systems and comply with onboard safety procedures.
Requirements:
Holder of CoC III/6
Minimum 24 months of sea time in rank
Proven experience as an ETO on DP2 vessels
Relevant Offshore Support Vessel experience preferred
Valid STCW certificates
Valid medical fitness certificate
Valid seafarer's documents
Good command of English
