Job Description:
An experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) is urgently required to join a DP2 Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) operating in Nigeria. The position offers an 8 weeks ON / 8 weeks OFF rotation, with joining scheduled for 12 September.
Position: Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)
Key Responsibilities:
As per company and vessel requirements, duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems onboard
• Carrying out electrical inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Supporting the vessel’s DP and automation systems
• Maintaining high-voltage electrical equipment in accordance with safety procedures
• Ensuring all electrical operations comply with vessel HSE and safety requirements
Requirements:
• National Certificate of Competency + Endorsement
• National Seaman’s Book
• Valid Seafarer Medical
• Basic Safety Training – STCW
• Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats
• Advanced Fire Fighting
• Valid High Voltage certification
• Designated Security Duties or Security Awareness
• Engine Room Resource Management (ERM)
• DP Maintenance Course – Kongsberg
• Strong and relevant experience as an ETO on similar offshore vessels
• Fully qualified and available for the required rotation
