Job Description

Sheffield Energies is recruiting an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) for a deepwater pipelay and heavy crane construction vessel.

The ETO will maintain and troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment, power distribution systems, automation, alarms and control systems to support safe and reliable vessel operations.

Requirements

• Previous ETO experience on offshore, pipelay, heavy-lift or construction vessels preferred.
• Valid ETO Certificate of Competency or other applicable electro-technical qualification.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant offshore certificates.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Experience with electrical systems, automation and fault diagnosis.
• Good problem-solving and safety-awareness skills.
• Good command of English.
• Availability for December 2026 mobilization, subject to client approval.
• Expatriate candidates preferred for officer positions.
