ETO for Cable Lay Vessel (Taiwan)

Job Description:

We are currently hiring an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) with previous cable lay experience to join an offshore cable-laying operation in Taiwan. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the vessel’s electrical and technical systems and ensuring reliable operation of electrical equipment throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and electronic equipment onboard.
• Carrying out routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Supporting the safe operation of vessel electrical systems.
• Assisting with repairs and technical fault-finding.
• Following onboard safety and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous cable lay vessel experience is mandatory.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Relevant ETO certification and seafarer documentation.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Availability to work in Taiwan.
