Job Description:
SSM Maritime Services Inc. is looking for an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) with Dynamic Positioning Maintenance (DPM) experience to join an AHTS DP2 vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of the vessel's electrical and electronic systems, including equipment associated with the DP2 system.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and troubleshooting vessel electrical and electronic systems.
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Supporting the operation and maintenance of DP2-related electrical and electronic equipment.
- Monitoring electrical systems and ensuring safe and reliable operation.
- Maintaining technical records and documentation.
- Following onboard safety procedures and company technical standards.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as an ETO onboard AHTS or similar offshore vessels.
- DPM experience.
- Previous experience with DP2 vessels is required.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
- Proficiency in English communication.
