Location: South Africa / Mozambique
WRS – Worldwide Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) to join a DP2 AHTS vessel for an offshore assignment starting at the end of January.
The vessel will initially operate in South African waters and subsequently proceed to Mozambique for continued offshore operations.
The role requires a competent ETO with solid experience on AHTS vessels over 3000 GRT, capable of maintaining and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and DP-related systems in a demanding offshore environment.

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vessel electrical and electronic systems
• Supporting DP2 systems, sensors, and control equipment
• Ensuring reliability of power generation and distribution systems
• Conducting planned maintenance and fault diagnostics
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures, class, and company standards

• Valid STCW certificates appropriate to the rank
• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Valid Seafarer Medical Certificate
• Valid Passport and Seaman’s Book
• Mandatory experience on AHTS vessels over 3000 GRT
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous offshore DP2 vessel experience
