Job Description:
DOF Asia Pacific is currently seeking experienced OOW Engineers with DP experience to support offshore marine operations across its DP2 offshore vessel fleet in Australia. The role involves maintaining safe and efficient engine room operations onboard Platform Supply Vessels (PSV), Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (AHTS), Multi-Purpose Support Vessels (MPSV), and Construction Support Vessels (CSV) operating within the Oil & Gas industry.
Successful candidates will work within dynamic offshore environments, supporting vessel operations, maintenance activities, and DP-related engineering systems while ensuring compliance with company procedures and international maritime safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintain safe and efficient engine room operations onboard DP2 offshore vessels
• Support Dynamic Positioning (DP) engineering and maintenance activities
• Perform machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment monitoring
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety, environmental, and operational procedures
• Assist with planned maintenance systems and engineering documentation
• Maintain effective communication and teamwork with onboard personnel
Requirements:
• Demonstrated offshore marine experience as an OOW Engineer with DP experience
• Minimum Engineer Watchkeeping Certificate of Competency (COC CL2)
• Current experience onboard DP2 offshore vessels such as PSV, AHTS, MPSV, and/or CSV
• Valid AMSA and/or Norwegian Medical certificate or equivalent
• Current BOSIET, CAEBS, and preferably MISC certification
• DP Maintenance Certificate is beneficial
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• Ability to travel at short notice with valid Australian work rights
