Job Description

Nimbus Marine Group is looking for a qualified Fourth Engineer for an upcoming assignment onboard an Offshore Construction Vessel operating in Sabah, Malaysia.

The successful candidate will assist the engineering department with machinery operation, routine maintenance, and the safe and efficient running of engine-room systems.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the operation and maintenance of engine-room machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor machinery performance and report defects to senior engineers.
• Maintain engine-room cleanliness and follow safe working practices.
• Support repairs and technical tasks under the supervision of senior engineers.

Requirements

• Valid Engineer Certificate of Competency appropriate for the Fourth Engineer position.
• Previous experience on offshore vessels is preferred.
• Valid STCW certificates.
• Valid medical fitness certificate.
• Valid passport and seafarer’s documents.
• Good English communication skills.
• Availability for the November 2026 – January 2027 assignment.
• Sabahan crew candidates are sought for this opportunity.
