Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Barge Engineer to join a Jack-Up Vessel for an offshore project. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with proven barge engineering experience to take on a challenging role onboard a jack-up unit. Candidates with previous Jack-Up vessel experience will be highly preferred. Due to project and permit requirements, only UK Nationals or candidates holding a valid UK Work Permit (FWP) will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing barge engineering operations and ensuring the safe operation of jack-up systems onboard
- Monitoring ballast, stability, jacking systems, and related technical operations during offshore activities
- Supporting vessel positioning, operational readiness, and compliance with project procedures
- Working closely with the marine and technical teams to ensure safe and efficient vessel performance
- Maintaining operational records and ensuring adherence to company safety and engineering standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barge Engineer
- Previous Jack-Up vessel experience is highly preferred
- Valid certification for the position as required by company policy
- Valid STCW certificates
- Medical fitness certificate
- Good command of English
- UK Work Permit (FWP) or UK Nationals only
