Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Deck Engineer to join an Accommodation Vessel operating in South America. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and operation of deck machinery and associated systems, ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in crane operations, gangway systems, and engine room maintenance. Holding a 3rd Engineer License will be considered a strong advantage. Joining is scheduled for 30 July 2026 for a short-term offshore assignment.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining and troubleshooting deck machinery and mechanical systems
• Supporting the operation and maintenance of cranes and gangway equipment
• Assisting with engine room maintenance activities when required
• Conducting planned maintenance in accordance with company procedures
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards onboard

Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Previous experience as a Deck Engineer on offshore or accommodation vessels
• Experience with crane systems, gangways, and engine room operations preferred
• 3rd Engineer License is highly desirable
• Valid Seaman’s Book and Passport
