Location: United Kingdom (Offshore)
Job Description: We are seeking an Electrician to join an offshore wind turbine installation vessel operating in the UK. The role involves supporting electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation activities onboard a specialized offshore wind construction vessel. The Electrician will ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems during offshore wind turbine installation projects. Start date is 01/06, with a 4-week rotation.
Key Responsibilities: As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Carry out electrical maintenance and fault-finding onboard offshore wind installation vessel
• Support installation and commissioning of electrical systems related to wind turbine operations
• Ensure compliance with vessel safety procedures and electrical standards
• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs of electrical equipment
• Work safely in offshore environments and at height where required
Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competency (COC)
• Valid STCW certificates
• GWO Working at Heights (WAH) and Sea Survival (SS)
• BOSIET / FOET / HUET certification
• Valid passport and seaman’s book
• Valid offshore medical certificate
• UK Right to Work (mandatory)
• Previous offshore wind or vessel electrical experience preferred
