Job Description:
Atlas NextWave is currently looking for experienced Electricians to join a Pipe Lay Vessel operating in the EU. The position is offered for 5 weeks, with a start date of 12 September 2026.
Position: Electrician
Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs onboard
• Inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
• Supporting safe and efficient vessel operations
• Maintaining electrical equipment in accordance with vessel procedures
• Following HSE, electrical safety and STCW requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in rank
• HUET
• CA-EBS
• Basic Safety Training (BST)
• Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (PSCRB)
• Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF)
• Designated Security Duties (DSD)
• High Voltage (HV)
• Certificate of Competence – Electro-Technical Rating III/7
• Valid Passport
• Valid Seaman’s Book
• STCW Medical Certificate
