Job Description:
iPS Powerful People is seeking an Electrician for an electrical installation project aboard a drilling jack-up rig in the Netherlands. The rig is expected to remain largely in port during the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support cable pulling, routing, securing and termination activities.
- Install and connect electrical equipment and supporting systems.
- Assist with panel wiring, termination and commissioning activities.
- Read electrical drawings and installation work packs.
- Support inspections, testing and completion of electrical work.
- Carry out assigned work safely with the project and technical teams.
Requirements:
- Valid BOSIET certificate.
- Valid Offshore Medical certificate.
- Valid CA-EBS certificate.
- Valid MIST, IMIST or VCA certificate.
- Experience with cable pulling and electrical installation.
- Experience wiring and connecting electrical panels and equipment.
- Ability to work from drawings, installation packs and project procedures.
