Job Description:

PASAT is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a dredging vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing onboard electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.

The electrician will work in accordance with company procedures, onboard safety regulations, and applicable maritime standards. Previous experience on dredging vessels or similar offshore and marine vessels will be considered an advantage.

Project details, working schedule, contract duration, salary, and joining date are to be confirmed by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair onboard electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

• Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out corrective maintenance.

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine electrical inspections.

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and onboard regulations.

• Report technical defects and assist with maintaining reliable vessel operations.

Requirements:

• Relevant professional qualifications or certificates in electrical work.

• Valid STCW certificates, as applicable to the position.

• Valid seafarer’s medical fitness certificate.

• Valid passport, seaman’s book, and required travel documents.

• Previous experience as a shipboard or marine electrician.

• Experience on dredging vessels or similar offshore vessels is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English communication and the ability to work in a multicultural crew.
