Job Description:
TOS is looking for an experienced Electrician to join an ASD Tug Boat operating in Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the vessel's electrical systems and equipment, ensuring reliable and safe operation onboard.
Candidates should have more than 2 years of experience on ASD Tug Boat and be able to work effectively in a European crew environment. A fixed 3 months on / 3 months off rotation is offered, with the possibility of a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment onboard.
Carry out preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs when required.
Assist with inspections, testing, and safe operation of electrical installations.
Follow onboard safety procedures and company HSE requirements.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates.
All certificates and travel documents must be valid and up to date.
More than 2 years of experience on ASD Tug vessels.
Previous ASD Tug experience is required.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a European crew environment.
Good English communication skills.
Loyal, committed, and highly motivated.
Maximum age: 45 years.
