We are currently recruiting a qualified Electrician to join an AHTS vessel operating in the United Kingdom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of onboard electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations in compliance with company procedures, maritime regulations, and offshore safety standards.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates with prior offshore vessel experience and valid UK work authorization.
• Maintenance and repair of vessel electrical systems and switchboards
• Troubleshooting generators, motors, control panels, and automation systems
• Supporting DP and engine room electrical operations (as applicable)
• Performing preventive maintenance in accordance with PMS
• Ensuring compliance with HSE policies and offshore safety regulations
• Assisting with electrical fault diagnostics during offshore operations
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and reporting
• Valid UK Work Permit (mandatory)
• BOSIET with CA-EBS
• Valid GWO Certificates
• Valid STCW certificates relevant to the rank
• Previous experience as Electrician on AHTS or offshore vessels
• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• Good English communication skills
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in offshore environments
