Electrician for AHTS Non-DP Vessel

Job Description

SSM Maritime Services Inc. is looking for a qualified Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment aboard an AHTS Non-DP vessel.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair vessel electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults in motors, generators, switchboards, and electrical circuits.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and electrical safety inspections.
• Assist the engineering team with technical repairs and equipment testing.
• Maintain electrical maintenance records and follow onboard safety procedures.

Requirements

• Relevant marine electrician qualifications and certificates.
• Valid STCW certificates, as applicable, and medical fitness certificate.
• Relevant seagoing experience, preferably on offshore support vessels.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Valid seafarer’s documents.
