Location: Europe
We are currently seeking an experienced 5th Electrician to join a Pipelay Vessel operating in Europe, with a scheduled start date of 11 February.
The successful candidate will support electrical operations onboard, assisting with maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in accordance with offshore safety standards, company procedures, and international maritime regulations. This role is suitable for offshore professionals with pipelay vessel or offshore construction experience and strong safety awareness.
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with operation and maintenance of vessel electrical systems
• Supporting fault finding and corrective maintenance activities
• Carrying out routine inspections and electrical safety checks
• Maintaining records and reporting technical issues to senior electricians
• Ensuring compliance with HSE policies and offshore electrical standards
• Valid Certificate of Competency III/7 or III/6
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid STCW Medical Certificate
• BOSIET with CA-EBS
• Malaysian nationality (mandatory due to visa requirements)
• Previous offshore or construction vessel experience is an advantage
• Good command of English
• Contract Duration: As per project requirements
