Job Description:
Clyde Marine Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO) to join a self-propelled Jack-Up vessel operating in UK waters. The position supports safe and efficient DP operations, jacking activities, vessel movements, and bridge watchkeeping within a busy offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Conduct and monitor Dynamic Positioning operations during jacking, preload, and move-off activities.
Maintain accurate DP logs, checklists, and operational records.
Monitor environmental conditions and DP system performance.
Support bridge watchkeeping and safe vessel movements.
Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and offshore operational standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a DPO / Deck Officer
Strong DP operational experience on offshore vessels
Right to work in the UK
Valid GWO Basic Safety Training
Valid STCW certificates
Valid ENG1 Medical
DP Unlimited – desirable
Previous Jack-Up Vessel experience – desirable
Offshore wind experience – desirable
Good command of English
