Job Description:
An experienced Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO) is required to join a self-propelled Jack-Up vessel operating in UK coastal waters. The position supports safe and efficient DP operations, jacking activities, bridge watchkeeping, and vessel movements within a busy offshore environment.
This is a temporary assignment with joining scheduled for 23 September 2026 in the UK and an expected assignment period through 23 October 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Conduct and monitor DP operations during jacking, preload, and move-off activities.
Maintain accurate DP logs, checklists, and operational records.
Monitor environmental conditions and DP system performance.
Support bridge watchkeeping and vessel movements.
Ensure compliance with vessel safety procedures and operational standards.
Requirements:
Valid UK Right to Work.
Valid GWO Basic Safety Training and STCW certificates.
Valid ENG1 Medical Certificate.
Strong operational DP experience on offshore vessels.
DP Unlimited certification – desirable.
Previous Jack-Up or offshore wind experience – desirable.
Good English communication skills.
