Job Description

Sheffield Energies is seeking a qualified Dynamic Positioning Officer (DPO) for an offshore construction vessel engaged in deepwater S-Lay pipelay and heavy crane operations.

The DPO will assist in maintaining the vessel’s position and heading during offshore activities and monitor DP equipment in accordance with operational and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience on offshore, pipelay, heavy-lift or construction vessels preferred.
• Valid DPO certification appropriate to the position.
• Relevant dynamic positioning experience.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant offshore certificates.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Familiarity with DP operating procedures and emergency response.
• Good command of English.
• Available for mobilization in December 2026, subject to client approval.
• Expatriate candidates preferred for officer positions.
