Job Description

Sheffield Energies is recruiting a 3rd Officer / DPO for a deepwater S-Lay pipelay and heavy crane construction vessel.

The successful candidate will assist with navigational watchkeeping, bridge equipment checks, safety duties and dynamic positioning operations in support of offshore construction activities.

Requirements

• Previous 3rd Officer experience on offshore or construction vessels preferred.
• Valid OOW Certificate of Competency appropriate to the position.
• Valid DPO certification and relevant DP experience.
• Valid STCW certificates and relevant offshore certificates.
• Valid travel documents and seaman’s book.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English.
• Available to join in December 2026, subject to client approval.
• Expatriate candidates preferred for officer positions.
