Job Description
We are currently recruiting an experienced 3rd Officer / Junior DPO (JDPO) for a DP3 Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) operating in the North Sea.

- Main Crane: 250-tonne AHC (Active Heave Compensated) Crane
The successful candidate will join the vessel on 31 July 2026 for a 4-week contract. The role involves navigational watchkeeping and assisting with Dynamic Positioning operations during offshore projects while ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations in accordance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain a safe navigational watch as Officer of the Watch.
- Assist with Dynamic Positioning (DP) operations under the supervision of senior DPOs.
- Support offshore operations, including heavy lift and construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with company SMS, HSE policies, and international maritime regulations.
- Maintain navigational records, logbooks, and voyage documentation.
Requirements
- Valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) Certificate of Competency
- Valid DP Basic Certificate (DP Advanced preferred)
- Valid HUET with CA-EBS
- Valid Shoulder Measurement Certificate
- Valid STCW certificates
- Valid medical fitness certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- Minimum 12 months of actual onboard experience as 3rd Officer / Junior DPO on similar DP offshore vessels
- Valid Passport
- Valid Seaman's Book
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
