Job Description:
Riyan Ship is urgently recruiting an experienced Second Officer DPO for a DP2 AHTS vessel operating in Saudi Arabia under an ARAMCO project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting safe navigation, bridge watchkeeping and Dynamic Positioning operations onboard. Candidates must have relevant experience as a Second Officer DPO on DP2 AHTS or PSV vessels.
Traveling Date: 15 August 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Conducting safe navigational and bridge watches onboard the DP2 AHTS vessel.
Operating and monitoring the Dynamic Positioning system during offshore operations.
Supporting safe vessel manoeuvring and positioning.
Monitoring navigational equipment, weather and operational conditions.
Maintaining accurate bridge records and complying with vessel and offshore safety procedures.
Requirements:
Valid Certificate of Competency as Second Officer.
Valid DPO / DP certification appropriate for DP2 operations.
Minimum 12 months of experience as Second Officer DPO.
Experience on DP2 AHTS and/or PSV vessels is mandatory.
Valid STCW certificates.
Valid medical fitness certificate.
Proficiency in English communication.
Relevant offshore certificates required for the assignment.
Ability to work in Saudi Arabia / ARAMCO offshore operations.
