Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is seeking an experienced 2nd Officer DPO to join an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) operating in Guyana. The assignment is scheduled to begin on 4 August 2026 and will last 1–2 weeks. Candidates must already hold a valid Guyana visa and possess all required offshore certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Maintain navigational watch and support safe vessel operations.
Operate the Dynamic Positioning (DP) system during offshore activities.
Assist the Master in navigation planning and offshore operational coordination.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and international maritime regulations.
Maintain bridge documentation, navigational equipment, and safety records.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid Certificate of Competency (CoC)
DP Unlimited Certificate
Valid Guyana Visa (Mandatory)
Valid BOSIET
Valid Passport
Valid Seaman's Book
Valid Yellow Fever Vaccination
Valid TB Test
Previous experience as 2nd Officer DPO on Offshore Support Vessels is preferred
