Job Description: We are urgently seeking a Second Officer DPO to join a DP2 PSV vessel operating offshore Namibia. The role involves supporting dynamic positioning operations and bridge navigation duties onboard a specialized offshore support vessel. The Second Officer DPO will be responsible for maintaining safe navigation, assisting with DP operations, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety procedures during offshore activities.
Key Responsibilities: As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Operate and monitor DP2 system in coordination with bridge team
• Assist in safe navigation and watchkeeping duties onboard PSV vessel
• Maintain accurate position-keeping and voyage planning records
• Support Master and senior officers during offshore operations
• Ensure compliance with DP operational procedures and safety standards
Requirements: • Minimum 15 months experience as Second Officer DPO on DP2 PSV vessels
• Valid STCW certificates
• DP Operator certification
• Medical fitness certificate
• Strong experience in offshore PSV operations
• Proficiency in English communication
