Location: Saudi Arabia (Offshore)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced 2nd Officer DPO (OPITO HLO Certified) to join a DP2 offshore vessel operating in Saudi Arabian waters. The vessel supports offshore operations in a dynamic and challenging environment.
The position is offered on an 8 weeks on / 8 weeks off schedule, with an ASAP joining date.
Upon mutual agreement, there is a possibility to secure a fixed rotation within the company.
The successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact for helideck activities and helicopter operations, ensuring safe and efficient coordination in compliance with international and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to: • Performing duties as 2nd Officer DPO on a DP2 offshore vessel
• Acting as Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and coordinating all helideck and helicopter operations
• Maintaining DP watchkeeping and navigational safety standards
• Ensuring compliance with company, flag state, and client (ARAMCO) requirements
Requirements:
• Valid STCW certificates, including Ship Security Officer, Medical Care, ARPA, ECDIS & Bridge Resource Management
• Full DP Certificate
• Valid OPITO HLO or HOITS / HERTM / HERTL certification
• English Marlins Test
• Valid H2S Certificate
• ARAMCO Approval
• Proficiency in English communication
Experience:
• Minimum 365 days DP sea time recorded in the DP Logbook
• Minimum 2 years experience as 2nd Officer on DP vessels
