Job Description:
Worldwide Recruitment Solutions (WRS) is seeking an experienced 2nd Officer (DPO) to join a Crane Vessel operating in France. The assignment begins on 6 August 2026 and continues until 9 September 2026. The successful candidate will support safe navigation, dynamic positioning operations, and offshore lifting activities while ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Assist the Master with vessel navigation and bridge watchkeeping duties.
Operate the vessel's Dynamic Positioning (DP) system during offshore operations.
Maintain navigational charts, records, and voyage documentation.
Support safe offshore crane and project operations in coordination with the bridge team.
Ensure compliance with company safety management systems and international maritime regulations.
Requirements:
Valid STCW certificates
Medical fitness certificate
Proficiency in English communication
Valid 2nd Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC)
DP Unlimited Certificate
Valid HUET / BOSIET / FOET
Valid CA-EBS
Valid Passport
Valid Seaman's Book
Previous experience on Crane Vessels or offshore DP vessels is preferred
