Job Description
NR Marine is currently recruiting experienced Deckhands to join its Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) operations in Lowestoft.
The position offers short- to medium-term charter cover on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, with additional work available for candidates who wish to take extra assignments. The company offers competitive and transparent day rates, responsive office support, and a strong onboard team.
The starting date is as soon as 18 September 2026.
Key Responsibilities
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
- Carry out general deckhand duties and daily vessel maintenance.
- Assist with safe berthing, mooring, unmooring, and vessel operations.
- Support safe transfer of personnel and equipment between the CTV and offshore installations.
- Maintain deck equipment and ensure high standards of housekeeping.
- Follow all company, vessel, and maritime safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous CTV experience – Mandatory
- AEC1 – Mandatory
- Valid STCW certificates as required
- Valid medical fitness certificate
- Proficiency in English communication
- Valid passport and seaman’s book
- Additional CTV certification as required by the company
