Deckhand for Workboat (Belgium/UK)

Rate: £235/day
Contract Duration: 4 weeks

Job Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Deckhand to join a workboat vessel operating from Montrose, Scotland or Oostende, Belgium. The ideal candidate should hold an AB CoC, Yachtmaster qualification and have valid STCW and medical certification. Previous SOV experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

•  Supporting routine deck and vessel operations 
•  Assisting with mooring, berthing and unberthing operations 
•  Carrying out deck maintenance and housekeeping duties 
•  Supporting cargo and equipment-handling activities 
•  Following all vessel safety and operational procedures 

Requirements:

• AB CoC – Required
• Yachtmaster – Required
• SOV experience – Preferred
•  Full and valid STCW certificates
•  Valid medical fitness certificate
• UK or Irish nationality only
•  Relevant workboat/deck experience
