Job Description:
Curtin Maritime, Corp. is hiring Deckhands to join its fleet of electric ship-assist tugboats operating in the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles. The position involves supporting tugboat operations, assisting with vessel manoeuvring, and performing routine deck duties.

Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with tugboat operations and ship-assist activities.
• Handling mooring lines during berthing and unberthing operations.
• Maintaining deck equipment and keeping work areas clean and safe.
• Assisting with routine vessel maintenance.
• Following onboard safety procedures and maritime regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Valid Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC).
• Required Able Seafarer – Special credential, as specified in the vacancy.
• Valid U.S. Coast Guard medical certification with no night restrictions.
• Relevant deckhand or tugboat experience preferred.
