Location: Southwest, England

Job Description:

We are looking for a Deckhand to join a Tug vessel completing coastal towage operations in Southwest, England. The client is seeking someone with previous Tug or Fishing experience. Candidates must be confident with rope tying, splicing, and winches. This is a short-term assignment with potential for future trips. Start date is ASAP.



Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy and position, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

· Deck operations including mooring, line handling, and towing activities
· Rope tying, splicing, and winch operation
· Routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of deck areas and equipment
· Compliance with all safety management systems and company HSEQ requirements
· Assistance with coastal towage operations as directed by the Master



Requirements:

· Right to work in the UK – mandatory
· Previous Tug or Fishing experience – mandatory
· Confident with rope tying, splicing, and winches – mandatory
· Valid STCW certificates (preferred)
· Valid Medical Certificate (ENG1 or equivalent, preferred)
· Valid Seaman's Book (preferred)
· Proficiency in English communication (verbal and written)
· Availability: Must be available to start ASAP
