Job Description:

PASAT is seeking a reliable and motivated Deckhand to join a dredging vessel. The successful candidate will assist the deck crew with routine deck operations, general maintenance, housekeeping, and other duties required for safe and efficient vessel operations.

The candidate must be willing to work as part of a team, follow instructions from supervising officers, and comply with onboard safety procedures. Previous experience on dredging vessels or similar marine and offshore vessels is considered an advantage.

Project details, working schedule, contract duration, salary, and joining date are to be confirmed by the employer.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with routine deck operations and daily vessel activities.

• Carry out general deck maintenance, cleaning, painting, and housekeeping.

• Help prepare and maintain deck equipment and working areas.

• Follow instructions from the deck officers and support other crew members.

• Observe onboard safety procedures and participate in safety drills as required.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Deckhand or in a similar deck position.

• Valid STCW certificates, as applicable to the position.

• Valid seafarer’s medical fitness certificate.

• Valid passport, seaman’s book, and required travel documents.

• Previous experience on dredging vessels or similar marine vessels is an advantage.

• Proficiency in English communication and the ability to work in a multicultural crew.

• Ability to perform physical deck duties and follow onboard safety procedures.
