Deckhand for CTV (Netherlands)

Job Description

TOS People & Ship Delivery is seeking an experienced Deckhand to join an offshore wind project operating Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV) / fast offshore craft.

Candidates must have previous offshore experience and experience working on CTVs, offshore wind vessels, crew boats, pilot boats, or similar fast craft. Experience with high-speed vessels and waterjet or NAMjet propulsion is a strong advantage.

The position involves working in a 24/7 offshore wind environment alongside a multinational crew. Candidates must be comfortable with a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation, demonstrate good operational English, and have a strong understanding of offshore safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Assist with safe crew and personnel transfer operations.
• Perform mooring, berthing, unberthing, and general deck operations.
• Support high-speed vessel operations and offshore wind activities.
• Carry out deck maintenance, inspections, and housekeeping duties.
• Assist the Master and crew in maintaining safe vessel operations.

Requirements

• Offshore experience – Mandatory
• Experience on CTV, offshore wind vessels, crew boats, pilot boats, or similar fast craft
• High-speed vessel experience advantageous
• Waterjet / NAMjet propulsion experience – Strong advantage
• Good engine and machinery knowledge
• Dutch Law test / Dutch-flag vessel experience preferred
• Good operational English
• Offshore safety awareness
• Experience working in a multinational crew environment
• Willingness to work 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
• Valid STCW certificates
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Valid passport and seafarer's documentation
