2 × Deckhand for Tug Boat/ Multicat Vessel (Falkland Islands)

Start Dates: 24 October 2026 / 31 October 2026
Rate: £200/day PAYE, subject to UK tax
Rotation: Minimum 8 weeks onboard, potentially longer depending on project completion

Job Description:

McNeill Marine is currently seeking 2 experienced Deckhands for an offshore project in the Falkland Islands. Candidates should have previous experience working on dredgers, tugs or multicats and be able to commit to the full project period.

Due to the limited availability of permits for the Falkland Islands, reliability and commitment are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

•  Performing general deck duties onboard the vessel 
•  Assisting with mooring, towing and marine operations 
•  Supporting dredging and associated offshore operations 
•  Carrying out deck maintenance and housekeeping duties 
•  Following all vessel safety and operational procedures 

Requirements:

•  Previous dredger operations experience
•  Previous Tug / Multicat experience
•  Relevant maritime certification 
•  Valid maritime documents and certificates 
• Appraisals / references required
•  Ability to commit to the full project period
•  Reliable and able to work within the project schedule
