Job Description:

The Talent Engine of the Middle East is currently hiring an experienced Offshore Crawler Crane Operator for offshore operations in Qatar. The successful candidate will have proven experience operating crawler cranes on spud barges and a strong background in offshore lifting and marine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

•  Safely operating a 280 MT crawler crane during offshore and marine lifting operations 
•  Executing lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and crane load charts 
•  Ensuring compliance with SWL requirements and safe lifting practices 
•  Coordinating effectively with Riggers, Banksmen and Lifting Supervisors 
•  Conducting crane operations in accordance with offshore safety procedures and project requirements 

Requirements:

•  Proven experience operating Crawler Cranes on Spud Barges
•  Strong experience in Offshore Lifting & Marine Operations
•  Good knowledge of: 
  •  Crane load charts 
  •  Lifting plans 
  •  SWL 
  •  Safe lifting practices 
•  Experience working with Riggers, Banksmen and Lifting Supervisors
•  Valid Crawler Crane Operator certification
• BOSIET/HUET and H2S certificates preferred 
•  Medically fit for offshore work 
• Immediate joiner
•  Valid Qatar ID (QID)
