Crane Operator on OSV (Norway)

Location: Norway

Job Description:

We are recruiting an experienced Crane Operator for an Offshore Support Vessel (OSV) DP2, GRT 8500, built in 2011, operating under the Norwegian flag.
The vessel is equipped with a 150-tonne Active Heave Compensated (AHC) crane.
The contract duration is 4 weeks, with operations in Norwegian waters.
Joining date is 11th February.
Due to flag state requirements, only EU passport holders or Ukrainian nationals with a valid EU residence permit will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
 • Safe operation of the offshore crane (AHC) during all lifting operations
 • Compliance with company, client, and flag state safety procedures
 • Daily inspection and routine maintenance of crane equipment
 • Cooperation with deck crew and bridge team during offshore operations
 • Reporting technical issues and participating in safety meetings

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
 • Valid NOR/NIS Medical Certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Valid EU passport or Ukrainian nationality with EU residence permit
• First Class Seaman License
• Crane Operator’s Certificate (Sparrows Stage 3 / EnerMech Stage 3 / G5 / AIS Survivex)
• Valid HUET and CA-EBS
• Security Duties certificate
• Minimum 24 months of actual onboard experience on similar vessels in the rank of Crane Operator
