Job Description:

A maritime operator is currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join a Well Intervention Vessel supporting offshore oil & gas operations in Brazilian waters. The vessel is involved in subsea well intervention activities, providing specialized services such as maintenance, repair, and intervention operations on offshore wells.

The selected candidate will be responsible for operating deck cranes to support offshore lifting operations, cargo handling, and equipment transfers between the vessel and offshore installations.

Due to visa processing requirements for Brazil, suitable candidates must be identified as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for the visa application process.

Key Responsibilities:

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating offshore cranes safely during cargo and equipment handling operations
• Coordinating lifting activities with deck crew and offshore personnel
• Conducting routine inspections and maintenance checks on crane equipment
• Ensuring compliance with offshore safety procedures and lifting plans
• Supporting deck operations and logistics activities onboard the vessel

Requirements:

• Valid STCW certificates
• Medical fitness certificate
• Proficiency in English communication
• Crane Operator Stage 3 Certificate
• Previous experience on Well Intervention Vessels or Drillships
• Valid Marlins Test
• Valid Offshore Survival Certificate

Employment Details:

• Contract Duration: Permanent position
• Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
• Travel Date: 1 April 2026
