Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join a Self-Propelled Jack-Up Vessel carrying out offshore wind farm operations in UK waters. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient crane operations and offshore lifting activities onboard.
The position is temporary, starting 19 August 2026 for approximately 4 weeks. Previous mobile crane experience and a strong background in offshore lifting operations, particularly within the offshore wind sector, are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:
Operate onboard cranes safely and efficiently during offshore lifting operations.
Conduct lifting operations in accordance with vessel procedures and applicable safety standards.
Perform pre-use checks and report any defects or operational issues with crane equipment.
Coordinate lifting activities with deck crew and other personnel.
Maintain safe working practices during offshore wind farm operations.
Requirements:
Crane Operator Stage 2 certification.
Valid HUET.
Valid GWO Working at Height certification.
Valid Basic STCW certificates.
Valid Seafarer Medical / ENG1.
Valid Passport.
Right to work in the UK is essential.
Previous mobile crane experience – preferred.
Strong offshore lifting experience, preferably in the offshore wind sector.
Good English communication skills.
