Job Description

An offshore recruitment company is urgently seeking an experienced Crane Operator to join an Offshore Wind Vessel operating in Northern Europe.

The position requires immediate mobilisation, with the successful candidate expected to travel to the Netherlands and arrive by the morning of 17 September 2026.

The assignment is for approximately 6 weeks, with a proposed rate of EUR 400 per day, subject to final approval by the vessel owner. Candidates must be available to travel immediately and have all required offshore and crane certification in place.

Key Responsibilities

As per company policy, the main duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Safely operate the vessel's offshore crane during lifting and cargo-handling operations.
  • Carry out pre-use inspections and ensure crane equipment is maintained in operational condition.
  • Execute lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate crane activities with riggers, deck crew, and offshore supervisors.
  • Comply with all vessel, offshore wind, lifting, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

  • Valid Crane Stage 3 Certificate – Required
  • Relevant offshore crane operating experience
  • Valid STCW / offshore certificates
  • Valid medical fitness certificate
  • Required GWO training / courses
  • Valid passport and travel documentation
  • Ability to mobilise immediately
  • Availability to travel to the Netherlands immediately
  • Proficiency in English communication
