Job Description
A leading offshore recruitment company is currently seeking an experienced Crane Operator for a short-term offshore assignment onboard a vessel operating approximately 12 nautical miles off Aberdeen, United Kingdom.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting safe lifting operations, cargo transfers, equipment handling, and supporting offshore vessel activities while maintaining compliance with offshore safety standards and operational procedures.
This opportunity is ideal for qualified offshore crane operators with valid certification and previous offshore lifting experience.
Job Responsibilities
Operate offshore cranes safely and efficiently
Conduct lifting and cargo handling operations
Perform pre-use inspections and equipment checks
Ensure compliance with lifting plans and safety procedures
Maintain accurate crane operation records and logbooks
Support deck operations and offshore activities as required
Participate in safety meetings and emergency drills
Follow company HSE policies and offshore regulations
Requirements
Valid IMCA Crane Operator Logbook
Valid Stage 3 Crane Operator Certificate
Valid Offshore Survival Certificate
Valid Offshore Medical Certificate
All mandatory offshore certifications required
Previous offshore crane operating experience
Right to work in the United Kingdom
Good English communication skills
Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
